“Rewards go to the bold.”

After working in media for more than 20 years, Rosaria founded the agency in 1999 with an intimate knowledge of media. A savvy negotiator, she secures killer deals for knoodle’s clients. Rosaria is also an avid runner and has completed 10 marathons. She sets a pace that few can match, whether in the office or on the pavement. She also reminds clients and staff alike that marketing is a marathon, not a sprint; plan and brand for the long-term.

Director of Client Services

“There are no traffic jams along the extra mile.”

Loren’s marketing career came to life in Reno, Nevada, where being an unhinged morning show sidekick / stunt guy gave him a taste of the glory that comes from igniting “buzz.” When the stark reality hit him that he had no real on-air talent, he went into radio management. It was here he found his true niche, creating larger-than life events, promotions, and contests that his advertisers clamored to be identified with. Loren’s belief in customer service is as real as the wacky names he had as an on-air personality. Ask him about it sometime.

“Change your thoughts and you change your world.”

In college, Matthew started out studying illustration. But in his senior year, he discovered a passion for the creative side of advertising. So he put together a portfolio and landed his first job in the industry. He started out as an Art Director and worked up through the ranks at several agencies in Phoenix. Matthew’s great design sense and command of a Mac has won him several Addy awards, including this year’s Art Director of the Year. At some point along the way he started wearing a tie and now manages the creative department so you could say he’s half creative half suit. Sounds dangerous but he loves it.

For more than 23 years Elaine Vallario has been creating color palettes, images and personalities for clients big and small. Just prior to her position with knoodle as creative director, she provided creative solutions for her own clients ranging from the strategic to the tactical. A few to the accounts Elaine has worked with include the Arizona Office of Tourism, Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Phoenician Resort, Royal Palms, DC Ranch and SouthBridge. She always wears black, sometimes dreams in color, and likes really big dogs without hesitation.

“If everybody is thinking the same thing then nobody is thinking.”

A degree in history, graduate work in political science, and a spirited but ultimately failed attempt at joining the United State Foreign Service laid the ground work for a career in creative communications that still seems a bit of a muddle. William stumbled into words and pictures for profit in Tokyo, where he worked on accounts such as Honda Motor, Pentax, and BMW Japan Corp. After 12 years he migrated to Phoenix via Seattle, learning the many nuances of highly caffeinated beverages along the way. Previous to joining knoodle, William worked as a writer, an associate creative director, and a VP/creative director in agencies and in partnership, delivering solutions for clients that include the Arizona Office of Tourism, the Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, America West Airlines, the Arizona Humane Society, DC Ranch, Verrado, and Sedona Jazz on the Rocks. To this day, he remains steadfast in his conviction that The Thirty Years War was in fact only twenty-nine years long.
